Social impact

We equip our kids to become change agents in their communities

A lot of the time, highly vulnerable children (HVCs) are susceptible to falling into negative practices due to not having knowledgeable and attentive caregivers in their lives. We focus on creating a foundation for social impact for our children. It all starts with the small things - sharing with peers, expressing love to each other, or being respectful to elders. We have already received reports from parents expressing gratitude for the changes they’ve seen in their children since Abba Foundation began working with them.

We would love to expose our children to new experiences by taking them on different trips around Addis! We enjoyed learning about nature while on a trip to Zoma Museum in early 2020, where the kids got to interact with animals and discover different plants. We have two employed teaching staff that we would like to grow to four by the end of 2020 - we need your funding help to achieve this!

I was corrected by my 3 year-old child when I used a word that was socially unacceptable. Thank you for setting them on the right path!
