We work with mothers or caregivers to guide and support them

All of the children we work with have families living in conditions unsuitable for raising children. Similarly, some of the children are being raised by single parents or caregivers who do not have the time and/or energy to adequately provide for their children. We have began a system to change this by training some of the mothers to equip them with skills that helps them make more money. Our volunteers for now are close friends who have been kind enough to share their time and skills to train our mothers.

We intend to expand from just a couple of mothers to ten mothers by the end of the year. So far, we have guided them through structural, financial, and logistical obstacles on how to set up small businesses. In order to diversify the learning options available, we need finance to hire new trainers who provide different opportunities to the mothers and community.

I managed to rent my own house with the money I was making from the small business Abba Foundation helped me set up.
